The stock car racing is sorted out now for a return to Odsal. This idea was for it to return in 2013 and only fell through because the "OK Bulls" version of the club collapsed.

The spend on bringing the ground up to standard has been £500K split between the RFL, Bradford Council. the Stock cars people and the current version of the Bulls themselves. Things were not that bad. Toilets had been vandalised and the end terracing was crumbling in places.

Talking of grounds the police are interested in the deal that got Wakefield their stadium back. Let's hope that whatever happens it stays back in Trinity's hands.

Anyone who wants to denounce these iconic venues is welcome to make donations for improvements directly to Mr. Sawyer and Mr. Carter do not forget to get a receipt.

never went to Odsal when the stock cars were there but I did go to one near Great Yarmouth many moons ago when on holiday and it wasn't a bad event quite entertaining but boy was it smelly and dirty and the smell clung to your clothes well after bit like bonfire night, doubt I'd be bothered to go to another one, wonder what the neighbourhood is going to think of it

as for Belle Vue with all the shenanigans that's gone on over the past years I hope its linked to a certain ex head of council and a knighted person that has stopped progression for years, being held to ransom knowing that we had no option but to purchase it at an
extortionate price after being told not to put a bid in kind of makes you think there's more to it

Some relatively new houses built next to odsal as well. I wonder how the owners of those houses would feel about stock cars.

Would be nice to have someone to share the bill but I still hold out some faint hope on that ‘Boutique stadium’ across the road one day.....sharing with BPA.
