| Season on the line.
Lose this and we'll be 2 wins behind York with 8 games left. They won't let that slip and it will be another 3rd place finish at best (Oldham are very close to pushing us further down the table)
All the talk of "we'll fix the issues", "we care" needs to stop and the team stand up.
I know the likes of Mick will hark back to 2005. But that was a group of all time SL greats coming together for one last hurrah. Throw on one of SL's all time great centres coming back from long term injury. This team isn't that. I think the team will lose the fans, who's patience is at breaking point.
The issues we were told "we'll fix" weren't fixed for Hunslet. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt in that the coaching team had a short turnaround so didn't have much time on the training field. But Okunbor frailing his arm out and knocking-on with no one within 20m of him isn't something you fix in training. It's a mentality issue and has been happening all year. Better teams punish us.
Hurrell did OK against Hunslet. But playing them on a small pitch masks his obvious failings. A good team like York on a wide pitch will expose those.
Maybe I'm being over negative but I honestly think it will be how much York beat us by rather than if we can win. Our seasons massively wobbled the last two months, York could provide the knock-out blow Sunday.
I'd love to be proved wrong

| I would just like to see us have a chance to compete with York without losing key players to major injuries or concussion during the match. Everyone says it evens out and/or it’s an adversity to overcome. York are playing well, we don’t need additional in-game adversity.

| I would love us to win this one and keep up the pace with York and Toulouse but York are the form team at the moment and I can't see anything other than a comfortable York win.
It'll take a mammoth effort from our boys to get the win. I hope the squad make me eat my words come Sunday evening.

| York are obviously clear favourites but we're due an unexpected win. Losing Holmes won't help though. Hope Keyes is fit or we'll e d up with an out of form Meadows in the halves with Lilley. As it is we'll end up with Hallas at hpoker for some of the game I reckon. Sure Hurrell will be a weak link on a bigger pitch but I think we're also more fluent in attack away from home.
