| After the stunning fightback at Newcastle, many were predicting a comfortable home win against Gary Thornton's Hunslet, myself and the bookies included.
However, after a bright opening quarter, the wheels gradually fell off, resulting in two late Hunslet penalties snatching defeat from the jaws of victory for the Dons.
Our next opponents, Workington Town, are top of League One with a 2 from 2 record after victories at Oldham (32-2icon_cool.gif and at home to North Wales Crusaders (48-1icon_cool.gif.
Coach Richard Horne has so far used 5 players on dual registration and it will be interesting to see who is available / selected for what I expect to be a full-blooded encounter as Leon Pryce will no doubt have his players majoring on physicality. We will surely need a different approach and a much better performance than yesterday if we are to come out on top. But that isn't impossible.
Hopefully the injuries to Kyle Kesik and Jordan Howden do not rule them out, they were badly missed as the game against Hunslet progressed. The injury to the latter certainly looked a nasty one!
Perhaps, we will see new signing Jordan Cox make his debut?
Last Season: Doncaster 44 Workington Town 32 (Sunday 23 September 201icon_cool.gif
Dons Tries: Jack Logan 2, Jack Sanderson 2, Matty Beharrell, Aaron Jones-Bishop, Jason Muranka, Liam Harris
Dons Conversions: Matty Beharrell 6
Note: Workington won 30-18 the following Sunday in a play off match at the Keepmoat Stadium.

| Having seen the head wound on JH he must be doubtful. Hard to make a proper assessment without knowing who we will have from the black and whites. It would be good to retain Fash and Washy for this game and if we have Miloudi again just have him run hard and stop fannying about. Hoping that a game of rugby breaks out for this encounter.

| I think Workington will be too well organised ... again.
We would have to click to beat them with Castleford style rugby, because we haven't got our forwards organised enough and will probably be at a disadvantage there.
COYD
It will be different though, since just about everyone thought we would beat Hunslet.
We might play better as underdogs.

When Miloudi first arrived at Hull and i saw him play full back i said he will never make a full back at Super League level.
Like everyone says he is a maverick but his main flaw is defence.he just cant tackle.
His best performance was on the left wing when he played a couple of games.
If Rich Horne decides to play Miloudi then in my opinion it has to be at half back where at this level he can use his (fannying about) to baffle the opposition rather than his team mates in a safe area of the field.
Fash is good at this level but you need some more size into the team.I cant understand why Horne hasnt added Levy into your squad who would have balanced the 17 better than playing Washy.

| The three firms who have had odds for League One have all taken down the betting. Probably confused in that all of the original front five have lost at least one game (in Newcastle's case both) with the exception of Sunday's visitors Workington Town.

Any idea how long Wynne is out for ?? Yes I agree, we need some more size and aggression up front. We arnt gettng that with our current props although I think we have found a really good player in Douglas.. Fash was good on Sunday so would like to see him again on Sunday along side washbrook, another prop and then Miloudi and Wynne if fit.

| Agree with the point about Douglas, looking forward to seeing Jordan Cox hopefully on
Sunday also, if he's fit and selected.
In the Friendly we couldn't handle him and he runs some good lines as well which makes
him harder to stop.

| We won't see Brad England for around 10 weeks ... having a knee operation as well as recovering from an elbow injury.

You mean that one that's gone off the Boyle?
I think a lot of fans have done that.
