In a quiet time for any sort of news from our club and across the game I was just wondering if anyone else was contemplating the fact that for years we have been blamed by the Allams and the City fans for buggering up THEIR pitch because rugby does that and yet after we have not played there for a year, it looks at present in the worst condition it has been since the Stadium opened? I await their explanations with interest

I’ve just taken a plunge in to the comments section on HDM. I’ve just had to rub hand sanitizer on my eyeballs.

It seems that there are still some City fans that think rugby has made a mess of the pitch, one citing the GF as the reason.

I did find some of the rants about the boulevard amusing. History is not the strong suit for the average fan.

I doubt many City fans are aware that there wouldn’t be a Hull City if FC hadn’t allowed them to play at the boulevard before they were accepted in to the football league, and even fewer would admit to knowing it.

They also seem to forget the team is playing in division 3
League 1 sounds better to them

My favourite thing to remind them is the biggest thing they’ve ever won is a trophy for 3rd place in the second division.
