In the forwards we're now missing Berro, Manu, Tickle and Lauaki, and O'Meley's playing with a rib injury, so that will hamper us against a decent Catalan pack. We really need Fitz back to shore things up and ideally Long as well - Catalans looked flaky in defence at certain points today. Tough one to call, but our ash-cloud related excuses are no doubt being prepared as we speak.

Match what the welsh did by playing it wide and with flair and we'll have no trouble , our strong tackling centre will handle Sa too

I hope that any travelling fans look upon the trip as a weekend away, with a chance to watch a match thrown in.

Yes but our Leader , Frank Spencer , says the next 3 games were vital and a breath of gresh air playing bottom teams of Quins , Dragons and Tigers away.
I said if we lost 2 of the 3 he should go , at this rate it could be all 3 .
If his team lose all 3 of the easy 3 he hinted at - surely upon surely he should resign for the love of Gord.

To be fair that's how all away travel is at the moment, one big party with the possibility of a rugby game thrown in....

I think teams league positions are pretty irrelevant this year. I have read a few reports from catalans players and coaches claiming the cup is their only goal this season now so we may see a relaxed Catalans team who are not really up for the league next week.

That said todays result may have given them some renewed confidence and they will blast us off the park!



A couple of key players were carrying injuries today and may well be rested in the league to ensure they are fit for a very winnable quarter final at Fax/Batley.

Doubt they will rest players against us, two weeks before the Cup game.
