Bills commentary is about as dull as the weather we are currently experiencing, not helped by the dull tones of Barry and Terry at his side. As biased and annoying as Eddie was, at least he had excitement in his voice and was easy to listen to and Stevo also added excitement and a bit of banter. What a truly awful commentary team we've been left with.

Its not just Bill though is it? Barry and Terry are also dull and boring. All they do is say every player is tough, theres no proper in depth analysis on the replays after a try is scored because none of them are clever enough to break down an attacking move. The whole set up is terrible.

You’re right. I think Carney and Wells are good enough in the presentation and I’m not overly against Phil Clarke but they need a new lead man and somebody else to offer their opinions on the commentary alongside a top man.

The old Barrie and Terry comedy duo has always been rubbish. I don’t mind Barrie too much tbh but O’Connor is truly dreadful. He’s a funny bloke in real life but he’s never seemed to be able to get that across on TV.

Yeah Carney and Wells are fairly good in the studio and at the screen. Steve Simms used to do really good post try analysis for BBC CC matches in the 90s, he made it really exciting and i dont think hes that old.

I watched the game to half time just before I went to bed,yes I slept very well,he’s awful he really is I only hope Sky patch Dave Woods from the BBC,but I suppose why bother if Sky is not interested in RL long term?

The weather was awful, and it made for a dull game. Once the one and only try had been scored, there was nothing else that happened to really comment on.
I'm glad the bore fest of listening to every tackle being dissected as to whether a penalty should be awarded, has gone with MS and EH.
