I have always maintained that our players should do some media/presentation training as part of their scholarship/academy.

What's it about?

Two schools in Halifax, one of which is closing and will be moved in the other. To help the eventual integration they are forming a combined rugby league team. Sam is helping to facilitate it, and has been stressing the point that the team is not just about the players, but the kitmen, the promotional team etc.

It`s the RL version of the existing RU programme called `School of Hard Knocks`which has been going for a couple of years or more. No problem with that if it gives more exposure to RL in general and raises ST`s profile.......heaven knows there are few enough personalities in RL that can actually string a sentence together, including half of the existing SKY presentation team.
