Not a bad shout if it was to be renamed, BUT if it is to be renamed it would be better to sell the name. Extra income like that could be huge.

Why turn down extra income though?

Unless a stadium name actually has some history like Old Trafford, Anfield etc. (even if the stadium is brand new but on the old turf) then it is not worth keeping.

Not many fans would complain if the stadium was called 'Robin Park' but I would prefer extra income so the money can be spent on maintaining the stadium.

If we signed a deal now it would be worth A LOT of money. Latics are still in the premiership and we are current champions. It is a chance to sign a 10 year deal and get a lot of money for it.

Manchester City just got 400million for 10 years! We wouldn't get close to that obviously but I reckon up to 10million could be on the cards.
