He's not up to job. If Madge were controller of referees this guy would never get a game.

Unfortunately now the refs are full time they are all guaranteed games no matter how bad they are. With Albert I am not sure if he panics and loses his nerve, is genuinely ignorant of the rules or just can't keep up with the pace. My bet is its the first and/or the last of those.

Demotion a la James Child is in order.

although he is a crap ref, he does make the games exciting you must admit lol

He was totally out of his depth tonight, he just couldnt keep up at all.

My favourites tonight were the penalty against Carmont when he stole the ball cleanly in a 1on1, the decision that Prescott 'played the ball' with his backside, when turned to face in the other direction on a kick on the 6th, the Hoffman 'knock-on' in the first half, and the complete @rse he made of the whole end of the game - when he just looked like he didn't know what to do.

He's so bad it's not funny - and came close to ruining what was a good game.

The worst bit is that you have no idea what he's going to do. He can penalise for one thing and then completely ignore it for 20 minutes before clamping down on it again. He was bad for both teams.

He was awful tonight. Too many dreadful decisions to name them all. But for a start...

We hand over the ball on leeds 5 yard line after being tackled on the 5th and then he takes our defensive line to the 20. Surely it should only be back 10 yards to the 15?

Pat got impeeded twice whilst running to make a challenge for the high ball one of which we score from (Hoffs try).

Hoffman gets done for playing the ball incorrectly of knock on not sure which after 15 mins or so. This is whilst Lee Smith is perfecting a chicken wing tackle on Hoffs left arm.

Saying all that though the real reason the game was so tight and such a struggle for us was the individual unforced errors from the likes of HH, the Hoff and for once Pat.
