Positives today.
Good solid start which is what was lacking against Leeds and Toronto. Decent completion rate. Solid defence.
Negatives
Gave away a couple of silly penalties. Injuries, Dixon did not look good, initial thoughts he is probably done for the season

Shame about Dixon. Who comes in, Ogden maybe??

So..... It will come down to Halifax at home (although HKR are lumbered with casualties and Hastings is out for the season at Salford)..... I reckon we stand a better chance at Toronto than headingly but we must beat Halifax convincingly...... And I'd hope dave would have the guys on a flight first thing on the Monday....... And in a decent hotel for the week.....

The Dixon injury, that was just first thoughts, we have seen it before with injuries on the day.
Hopefully it’s not as bad as it looked, up till then he was having a pretty decent game.

Second rower Harrison also looked injured at the end (we played last 5 mins with 12 players)

Defence was tremendous today stopped TO from playing. We also made easy meters from the ruck. Very good performance. TO were very flat.

HKR next who have been very up and down this middle 8's.

We lost Quinlan who has been our best player this season and set up 5 tries today he’s out for 9 months and Justin Carney is also out we have been a bit hit and miss like yourselves in these 8s we were woeful against Salford at home then went away to Toronto and Leeds and won and were great for 20 mins today then sort of went to pieces a bit but a wins a win I suppose

Sent off at the weekend and by all accounts it was malicious, so he should get 3 games minimum......he'll definitely miss Leeds.

As for Toronto's hospitality.......I'd rather we steered clear of them totally and focus on our own needs should we get to the MPG and it be in Toronto.

Funniest moment of the match was right at end when the Ref gave forward pass with Tolouse on our line after Big Cliffy did his normal "Forward Pass ref, your a load of Khazi" shout.

He did not win the raffle though

.... But that made a few people chuckle...

Seriously however, nice for once to be at the end of a meaningful game, and not having to worry about the score of the final five mins.
