Skolars have announced that they are playing Wigan at the HAC on Friday 24 Jan. This being an annual fixture with us until now I suspect it's more proof - if needed - that Broncos are dead

"It should be noted that it is still our intention to arrange our traditional match with London Broncos in January and we will make an announcement on this fixture in due course"

The Broncos couldn't commit. I wonder why? They know the sort of dates that these events usually take place so it could be the 87,439th error from those in charge.

I don't really understand what the Broncos have that sees them unable to commit to a date, I can't imagine that teams are queuing up to play them.

Chances of Broncos having a team by January are probably close to zero.

Good for Skolars. It's become tradition to play at the HAC every year and I've got to quite like the freezing cold Fridays followed by a few beers. Wigan will probably bring a bigger crowd in than Broncos did!

Can they sell many more tickets than they usually do? and remember it is midweek!

Saracens played there and had a temporary stand(s) put up. I imagine that will be too much for Skolars and I think you are right that has a certain capacity.

Looks like the Skolars are preparing for a life without the Broncos, maybe we should to. Well done to them, life goes on.

Good on the Skolars, a real coup them getting the double winners for their pre-season HAC game! I don't suppose we would be able to provide an opposition, credible or otherwise!
