Mainly a second row. Not really quick or light enough on his feet for SL centre. Think of Ben Currie but without the speed. Perhaps lacking a bit of mongrel. Big lad though and got lots of potential.

mellor signed i suspect he will be used as a back up centre. Still young hopefully he can progress well with us. looking forward to the season now.
