As it's been so long since we got to one I can't recall if it is usually a SL ref that takes charge for the Final or one of our usual suspects.

If it is a championship ref then I expect it to be one of the refs that took charge of this weekends games. Considering the Fev v Sheff game was covered by our very own Joe Cobb I have a very bad feeling that it will be Matt Thomason for us for the 3rd game in a row. I truly hope this isn't the case as I feel his style of refereeing really works against our fast, open style of play.

There are 5 SL refs with nothing to do this weekend, please let one of them take charge of the final

I'm hoping it's Thaler, he reffed us V Fev in the Challenge Cup and did a very good job so he knows the teams a bit and they know him which will help everyone; also think he's been far and away the best ref we've had this year. Although I can see it being Thomason yet again or even worse, Ginger George or James "mind of a" Child, I really hope not.

My baby bro is a referee and he admits sometimes he makes a wrong decision but like every other ref he calls it as he sees it.

Like I said if I was refereeing on Sunday I would be totally unbiased and Leigh would win by 60.
