| Im wondering what your fans would think of this and if your club would consider a swap between Wigan/Warrington for these two players as it could benefit all parties involved given the recent events.
Bateman is undoubtedly the more talented of the two and hence why he was chosen to play for England last Autumn and Currie watched from the stands. Bateman himself has also confirmed that he rejected an offer from Warrington before he signed for Wigan so Tony Smith is clearly an admirer.
Ben Currie whilst not yet as good as Bateman is far more level-headed and word has been going around for a while that he wants to 'come home' back to Wigan. Im sure Wane and Radlinski would be a fan of his and he wouldnt have any animosity with the Wigan squad like Bateman may now have.
Let me know what you think I think this is an interesting debate.

| Currie scores far more tries, and makes comfortably more metres per carry... Also far better ball handler, and not a loose cannon.
Both players will probably be in the NRL, presumably Bateman before next season, but I don't see him being a success... too small for second row and doesn't have enough speed to compensate for it.
I don't really get the hype about Bateman, isn't a patch on a fit SOL.
Saying all that he will probably end up with a gf medal this year, Wigan looking very strong.

| I saw the headline and guessed it was written by this joker.
Don't mind a troll if they are funny or clever...... unfortunately you're neither.

| Currie is level headed and a great team player and is becoming more and more important for us especially in big games
Master Bateman is a niggly player who you would rather be playing with than against but if things don't go his way he has potential to bottle it!!!
Currie for me all day long, golden boy for Warrington and soon for England

| No thanks, I'd rather a ball playing second row who actually has fantastic hands to somebody who, although is a complete work horse, doesn't have much of a ball handling facet to his game. Bateman finds a way through the middle by keeping the legs going, Currie can actually just run around them.

| You tried this once before, it wasn't clever or amusing then, repetition hasn't improved it.

| As a Wigan fan I would swap and I reckon most Warrington fans would as well. i genuinely think this is a win-win for all parties involved.
