They often say that in RL that if you dont prepare and play with 100% gusto then injury is more likely to occur.
I might be wrong but I have a feeling that we will be shot by the time the playoffs come calling and that we will again have a poor series.

Perhaps the week off hasn't done you any favors. The players body's have perhaps relaxed and become unaccustomed to the pressures of the game (not very medical I know).

I don't think it's anything to do with the week off, and as for not playing with 100% gusto I also think thats' doubtful given the scoreline.
Hodgson was off after a minute - maybe more to do with warm up not being right, but more likely to be 'just one of those things'.
If all 4 are mssing at Catalan then it'll be a tough game.
But Blythe has played really well at centre so no concerns. Briers will replace Grix - no concerns.
Westwood will be a big loss in the 2nd row - even if Solo takes his place (they're different kinds of player). The alternative of Grix looks not possible, and it's difficult for Riley to come in to take Hodgson's place.
Possibly McCarthy and Clarke in the 17, although tbh the latter doesn't pose an attacking threat.
