There has been alot of criticism of british coaches at the min.. lack of them and the quality of the ones we do have.

So who do we think out of this current batch of aging players will go on to coach....and who has the best chance of succeeding?

Also which players are destined to coach a certain club?

I would have thought Sinfield to coach leeds at some point is nailed on.

may be peacock when he retires..but cant really see any more going into the coaching game..its possible for your more high profile players to do tv work when they decide to retire

won't sinfield have to give up being a ref if he wants to be a coach?

Paul Deacon definitely, Briers, Long, Sinfield?

Think Deacon would make a decent coach but if he doesn't stay at Wigan he would have to have subtitles.

Too difficult to answer without knowing each player. You would think someone like Briers but it's not always the great players who make the best coaches.

It really is quite difficult in rugby knowing who has the potential to be a coach.... well it seems to be from the outside looking in.

They cant all do TV work, all the top Sky jobs are taken for the next few decades by the likes of Carney and Wells and the Chuckle Brothers!

Plus most RL can hardly string a few words together!

I think the likes of Briers, Mozza and maybe Woody would make good coaches.

Paul Cooke would be a good coach. I reckon he could be the next coach of Hull FC after Agar.
