Absoultley shockin these people. As you know i won some executive seats on a compettion and was in the saints end. There were a few Leeds fans around us but not very many. There was a young Leeds fan about 6 and is dad infront of us, and like u would was celebrating when Leeds scored there final try, this man got up started giving abuse and swearing at the young boy and went straight to his face leaving the lad in tears and his dad very angry, also there were 2 incidents in both corners of the stand. One saints fan being thrown out for punching. After the game there were a family of Wire's all with heir shirts on and i heard one saint's fan say 'watch this', he walked up to the dad and started pushing him and arguing with him oer absoulte nothing.

These are the worst fans in SL. FACT.

They are very fickle

It was the same in 2007 apparently, must admit I went last year with my Wigan shirt on with my Saints friends and never had any trouble or seen any. It's unfortunate if you do see any though but it does happen and sadly it always seems to be the "grown ups" who act like idiots after bein on the beer all day.

It does happen, but it happens with fans of all clubs and anyone who tries to suggest otherwise is deluding themselves (I know your not!)

The vast majority of fans can go through the day without a problem regardless of who they support but you will always get your idiot minority who are out to cause trouble.

I think it's about time we stopped talking down all elements of our game and started talking about the positive parts. We're really good at shooting ourselves in the foot. Generally our fans are light years ahead of Football as regards behaviour and even RU is having a problem at the moment with a Referee being attacked by a fan at Coventry last week. Just for once let's give some air to the positive side of or game and stop all this petty bickering.

Leeds fans are no angels aswell, i went down to the toilets about 5mins into the 2nd half and when i came out there were around 15-20 Leeds fans in the concorse chanting Manchester w*nk! w*nk! w*nk! and songs about Munich, very odd behavior considering they were supposed to be watching a rugby match.

the majority of any teams fans are well behaved normal human beings...theres always the scum element that surface for certain games....pity we cant bring back hanging for plebs like this

The last 3 finals between Saints and Leeds have all involved fights in around the stadium and it's disgusting. The real thing that astounded me last night though was how many Leeds 'fans' I saw outside the ground before their team had even lifted the cup! These people have paid between £20 to £60 per ticket and would rather get the better of the M62 than celebrate with their team. If that's what success does to you then....

Obviously Leeds Utd fans.

Yep, still odd though, considering the game was in play and there in the concourses.

It never ceases to amaze me that some people will pay good money for tickets, take their seats late, go for a drink just before half-time, come back 5 minutes into the second half, then leave before the end to beat the traffic. They usually miss about 20 minutes of the game.
