I have decided to treat the wife to a chippy tea tonight.... i usually end up with a chippy when im drunk and wandering around near town.

As im driving tonight, it doesn't matter where it is... so where is the best chippy in warrington?

The best is The Big Blue (about 100 yds from where the Dog and Dart used to be)
Their chips are ####ing superb, and the Irish curry is a thing to behold. Just make sure you tell your bank manager you're going.

Mentions in dispatches to LONGLANE FISH BAR (sic) gorgeous chips but the chinese curry sauce is like dishwater.


BTW deckchair, I recommended you to Tayef for a curry. Was it OK?
I only have manlove for Mark Roberts more than I do for "Uncle" Tayef. Best curry takeaway in the universe

ended up getting a curry from Kaza tandoori in burtonwood... it was absolutely brilliant.... will make sure i go to Tayef for the next one though

A good un near us is the Chinese on Parksway, Woolston. Fish are superb.
