It seems the Dr has flown in ex Wigan coach Graham Lowe to had is expertise to the negotiations
so if the takeover goes ahead,will they find something for Simms to do.Or will the coaches be allowed to do
there job with out interference. I cannot see this man needing eyes and ears.

No,I can't see him surviving except possibly for a handover period.

No, he's got to go if we are to move forward as have all the current 'dead wood'. We need a fresh start and some new direction as we've been stagnated for far too long.

This investment, if it happens is the best thing for this rugby club and the only option we have. IMO none of the current regime should remain.

I think it’s got to be a fresh start with new blood, new enthusiasm and new idea’s. The current directors have been here far too long and I think for most it's not necessarily been by choice. It’s been said many times over recent years that the directors were prepared to step down should the right investor(s) come forward.

It’s just a shame for everyone connected with Salford that the club were so close to going out of business before the recent interest of a takeover.

These 'dead wood' comments are in my view below the belt and disrespectful to the people who have financially supported this club for many years, whilst no doubt hoping that other investors would step forward and have the appetite to takeover from them.

I hope he's kept on, otherwise we'll lose touch with lancetodd.

Just read the article above which on the face of it makes worrying reading but then you have to consider that the Dr seems to be a pretty astute businessman who seems to get what he wants. I'd personally like to see him bring in Brian Noble to do Simms job as he still has the respect of all in the RL community and he seems to have RL flowing through his veins.

Thanks to lance I see the knives are out for Steve.

He is a paid employee of the Company and has operated at the behest of the current unpaid Board of Directors to complete the tasks they have given him over the years.

As you know he is a family man, married to the lovely Ann - sister of our own Kenny Jones - and presently he remains the main breadwinner of the family.

For him to lose his job would be catastrophic for his family just as it would be for yours lance.

The good Doctor at present hasn`t bought the club and he must make his own decisions entirely and I would be right behind him in whoever he employs but it would be wrong for this witch hunt to continue until the take over is complete.

If he does take over,lets hope he makes the right decision,by the way what about the four coaches that have gone on his watch did they not have family,s,was it not catastrophic for them,or was they all in the wrong and
deserved it.

Pretty sure he won't be short of a few bob if he does end up being replaced.
