I know with Saints or Leeds reaching the final, they will take a lot of fans. But with a team that is based in Southern France reaching the final, this isn't good news for OUR game.
They brought less than a thousand fans to their last challenge cup final in 2018. I imagine 'Bachelors Mushy Peas' & 'Betfred' will be giving shed loads of tickets away for this game.

The sport should be able to sell out a grand final regardless who the two teams are as its supposed to be the most important game of the competition.

There should be enough hard core/casual fans who want to attend such a spectacle without relying on a side based in South of France to fill thousands of seats with fans.

As a neutral, I feel more inclined to go to a grand final with Catalan in than yet another Leeds v saints / Wigan / Warrington final. I hope many rugby league fans feel similar.
