Good choice against some great nominations

Well done to PS, he is quite obviously the biggest influence in the team at Cas and he has had a few really good seasons.

I know that a lot of Leeds fans like to think that players that leave there club never go on to play better than they did at Leeds, (They even made a thread about it a while back on there forum) I think McShane has and I think it was the wrong decision to let him go, he could have been brilliant for them for years.

Yep, for us as well, he couldn't be bothered to pull our shirt on, as the saying goes when the going gets tough the tough get going and he showed he certainly wasn't the type of player that you want in your team when your backs against the wall, thankfully Moore was exactly the type of player that we needed to keep us up, and that is exactly what he did (Quite literally).

Reminiscent of Makinson winning the Golden Boot a couple years back. A good player who's had a good year, but the best person who could have won the award? Nope.

Carried Cas for the past couple of years (has the timber for it as well). Well deserved.

Big fish small pond

Ok strange challenging year and nobody really stood out, he would not be my choice. But after the unevenness of this season due to pandemic not sure any individual awards should have been handed out.

This really is a sad reflection of the society we live in, what should be one of the greatest nights of this lads life has been ruined by trolls on twitter and all over social media giving him stick for winning an award.

I don't think I have seen the lad have a poor game in 2 years, obviously he is a quality player and for me he has carried Castleford for a couple of seasons now, there is no doubt he has won them games, just because we don`t see him tearing up defences like French doesn't mean that he hasn't had the most influence on the games that he has played in, which is how you score points on the MOS rankings.

There have been a list of fantastic players this season, Coote, French, Sezer, Lomax, the list goes on but I think PS makes that list for me, anyway just a simple Congratulations Paul from me.

Thoroughly deserved, all these silly comments people are making need to understand that this award has been given to Paul from ex rugby players of international class who know the game inside out, and yet some people on here are trying to belittle his achievement, I bet they have never touched a rugby ball in there lives let alone played the game, well done paul you did it the hard
