Can see this series dying in a couple of years and reverting back to the champions v.s champions.(sadly)
Teams are effectively buying their place. Warrington haven't earned their place in it. Yet as they are backed by a rich backer, they're in!!??
So we have Souths and Brisbane in no matter where they finish and from SL, those who can afford the bond!!
Fans won't bother watching as Warrington v.s Bridbane is nothing more than a friendly. The NRL clubs won't bring their star players half way around the world for a friendly.

Whenever the WCC is held in Australia it will only be the single champions v champions game , not 3 so that won't always be the case unfortunately. |
