SL fans , would you be happy for your club to drop out of SL fir the good of the game ?

It's a little ambiguous yes. As you, I or my mate Jeff might have different views on what the good of the game is.

if it left the game with more money, more visibility, more fans, and more stability or had the potential to do so, then yes.

No. The way the SL franchise system is run means that as time goes by it will be increasingly difficult if not impossible for those outside the top flight to meet the criteria to get (back) in. There will be an ever widening financial gap between SL & the rest & I am genuinely worried for Wakey- if as most expect they get the push this year and Cas, Salford & Saints get new stadiums how are Wakey going to get back in in 3 years? (assuming of course the RFL provides the option to expand the league in 3 years- we actually have no idea what their plans are).
So as things stand I reckon if you're picked for the next round of franchises barring financial meltdown you're set up indefinitely whilst if you're out with no Sky money & inevitably smaller crowds you'll never get back in.

Yes. But whether I agree that us being out of the SL is for the good of the game is an entirely different question!

If we were still playing at the Boulevard, lurking around the bottom spots, getting Sharks-like crowds, then yes we'd deserve to be dropped.

As towns88 posted earlier , how you define thing reflects on what your answer will be , I'm just trying to simplify the question and therefore the argument
