Considering you've listed teams that cannot apply it's a bit pointless. Even more so when you've not listed a team that CAN apply.

Widnes, Fax, Barrow, Batley are the only teams that can apply and it will also be in that order of preference IMO.

I think Halifax, having won a Championship and having a good enough ground for Super League, deserve the place.

I agree, they deserve a shot at SL however everyone knows it'll be Widnes.

Yes lets forget the fact that Halifax do not have the business infrastructure, the youth structures or the finances to make the transition and see them struggle for 3 years. What forward thinking people you are.

What i do hope though is that they don't completely shut the door off in 2015. If there is a club strong enough to challenge a current SL incumbent (like Widnes will in 2012) then a club should be given a chance. I think the RFL will still offer this chance despite many Championship fans thinking that they're the anti-christ. So long as i experience days like today now and again i don't give a monkeys. Today reminded me why i love Rugby League.
