Everyone can see why a young lad at Widnes would swap for a blue chip RL name.

Savelio swapping for Warrington would just be head scratching.

Why?
In his time at Saints, Wire have won more, and even performed better at the academy levels in the years he was in them. As I've said previously IF Wire have offered him a much better contract and Saints won't match it then he will move on.

Warrington are a nothing organisation. An influx of money doesn't change whom you are - they're a wilderness RL club desperately trying to be taken seriously. Their recent success in the Cup coincided with our biggest barren spell in 20 years or so. In one season, we won more league titles than they've managed since the pill was invented. Our success at Academy level is the very reason Savelio joined us in the first place so I'm not having any of that.

Money I'd agree although I'm not convinced they've offered significantly more. His advisors must need their heads testing. As I've said before, Wigan, Leeds, the NRL, I'd be annoyed but could at least understand it. They offer the same as we do competitive wise whilst the NRL is obviously a whole different level. Warrington ? Hull won the Cup recently as well, why not join them ? They're another wilderness club.
