Good move for all concerned IMO.

You do have to wonder what is going on at Saints.

We've now got Jammer and Perry left if Emmitt going is true, and all the rumours so far have been thats a very light pack. LMS coming in makes it 3, but we should have kept the likes of Hargreaves and Emmitt.

Other sides in SL just seem better at squad management than we do. The likes of Leeds, Warrington and Wigan go into pretty much every season with a bigger squad than we do with more established players.

We are fine in the props department. We dont need to carry deadwood like hargreaves. We have Jammer, Perry, LMS, Tony P, Emmmit and Paul Clough who the club are looking to play more games at prop next season.

Maybe if we hadn't made an £800,000 loss,or do we all just ignore the financial realities at our peril?

So are we saying the club is spending less than the salary cap level on players?

What about Fozzard are we not keeping him?

Hasnt Foz gone Cas or Salford?
We should of kept hargreaves IMO he's there in the squad if we need him.

I havn't heard anything about Foz going to anywhere but i dont understand why we let Bryn go, he's young? as we have a youth policy and i dont think he was a bad player at all

Hargreaves is surplus to requirements. He belongs to a category of solid, not-particularly fast/big/skilful/aggressive forwards of whom we have a large number at Saints. And he's not even the best in that category (Clough is). So I'm sure that his role can be filled by another, cheaper, identikit from the Academy.

Seems to have hit his level, and has not moved on. They can't stay here forever.
