Like it or not Smith will not be sacked before season end or even before his contract is up.

Unfortunately that I do know. He was a cheap alternative to a good coach. He is just not upto coaching at this level.

I actually like the style Smith is ‘trying ‘ to play. The problem is he doesn’t seem to realise we don’t have the basics, or toughness to give a good base for that style of play. Was embarrassingly easy for Walmsely and co, then the backs are left with trying to pull off miracle plays……

Yup. With no foundation, we become extremely flaky, and it becomes pretty much impossible to throw the ball around. When that happens, Smith's rugby becomes incredibly boring one man rugby which we are horrible at because the pack is so weak, or we start resorting to extremely gimmicky high risk attacking plays.

I don't think it's a coincidence that two teams that keep winning the division play nothing like us and have real robust forward packs. We can't even do the basics.

I said the exact same thing about 5 years ago when Leeds fans were claiming he was already better than Walmsley.
