Does there seem to be an tang of bitterness in that statement from York or is it just me?

Huge disappointment at losing him I think, rather than bitterness. They obviously rate him very highly.

Think Its also the reality of the situation, York and other championship clubs will always struggle to hold onto potential talent to Super League clubs especially the biggest club, sounds like they are being compensated and we have good linked with York so sure they will be getting some hot prospects on loan spells.

It's just how it is.

I think it`s great we are signing young talented prospects.
I`ve not seen him play but assume he`s one for the future.
However we still need a couple of experienced props for next season.

Be full time pro and full off season, so expect next year to be transitional, maybe play 6-8 first team games or more if he looks the part, importantly it ls another big body for coverage and squad rotation, been bare bones in forwards far too much last few years.

Perhaps replaces Muizz? 5-6 games plus reserves.

Still need another front line prop but depth at the position in terms of development is also important.
