I was reading the Yorkshire Evening Paper (YEP) yesterday and headline said "Cas eyeing two Batley players", these two are Alex Brown (winger) and prop Alex Walmsley (prop) the latter is supposed to have set the Championship alight for the past two weeks. What do people think? Bargains? Or just another fiasco where we have no money so getting crappy championship players?

Who can say? I've heard a few different people mention this walmsley kid now, saying he's worth a punt. We aren't in a position to just discount players because they aren't in SL so I'm glad we're keeping an eye on that league.

Heard from a few sources that Walmsley is to pick from Leeds and Hull. Would be surprised if every SL team wasnt looking at him. Looks to be a very good prop. Looks to be as good as, or better than Chris Hill was at that level

According to the League Express, Cas already have the contracts drawn up for them to sign so it's just wait and see what develops. |

Agree KC thought 2 of the best players on the field were Larne Patrick and Greg Eden who in fact are products of the Cas Academy ( Although Larne went to Oz at 16 beefed up and on his return Cas decided he wasnt good enough  ) |
