I Am left baffled after team selections in the last few weeks.

We play Fullbacks as wingers, A centre at Fullback(who can't tackle and catch), a second row at stand off. a second row at centre and keep changing our stand off to hooker. Thers is no wonder we look lost at times on the pitch. It must be confusing the players.

In That heat TM should have rotated the players more. Huby was on his knee's and still he stayed on, Snitch only had a 2 min breather and widders was well knackered before getting a breather.

Sargent might as well go back now. What is the worth playing 10 Mins. Was he Injured? He might aswell have been Injured all season, for the effort he has shown. Last season he was great but that has gone. Its now that counts.

All the cas fans around me were saying the same, that no other coach in Super League would play Mcgoldrick at FB. I think his tactics are all wrong and postional play is the worst I have ever seen.

Another thing about TM's record. Has any player improved under Matterson's Coaching. Players seem to go backwards under him. Snitch was wakey best forward last season. he is just Ok for us. Chase form has dipped after abright start last year. Shenton dosen't seem to be the player he can be and Westerman isn't the player he was looking to be.

Would agree with you on McDermott. Personally, I wish we could get hold of kear. This bloke has a proven track record. If we had the foresight at the time and snapped him up before Wakey did, I feel pretty confident we'd have never been in Div1.

I dont really like the whole sack the coach thing as i think with the club the way it is we would only end up with a cheap option as a replacement eg. Andy Hay. But i do think 4 years is enough time to show if he can get us going in the right direction again and i think the answer to that one is clearly NO, i think we have won 4 home games in the last one and a half seasons and it is becoming more difficult to see when the next win is going to come along.
As the original poster said Matterson is turning decent players into average ones, and i think it is clear to everyone that the teams stamina fitness as a whole is very low and that is why we cant't play a full 80 minutes and discipline is becoming a bigger problem week on week but that is just my opinion.
So i think the only thing we can look for now as fans is damage limitation for the rest of this season and then hope for a clean slate next year with a new coach, but the big question is what sort of coach will we be able to get with the recruitment policy we have in place. The future doesnt look bright, to me anyway.

WOT no insults I cant believe it, I'll explain it as simple as I can for you in your situation, the poster was waxing lyrical about Kear I simply reminded him with a tongue in cheek post of that banner on the plane over your ground when we beat you 18 nil. Far be it for me to try and put the world to rights vis a vis Castlefords coaching problems thats assuming I give a t*ss which I dont, it would seem even Paul Daniels could not help you there. A poster of yours with the name boothdaz commented on how he would like Kear in I simply replied, end of. If that is trolling then I am guilty as charged M'lord.
