Dont know a great deal about him TBH, maybe the Batley fans will give us some feedback but i do know that people around the club have spoken highly about him. Welcome to the club Adam. Rhino has given feedback to yesterdays announcement regarding the released players as well as the one`s not mentioned.

Quote from courier re the players not mentioned yesterday reads:

Harrison also clarified the position of the members of Fax’s 2011 squad who have not yet signed new deals and were not on yesterday’s list of released players: Ryan Fieldhouse, Frank Watene, Jim Gannon and Stephen Bannister.

“I am still speaking to Ryan and he has an offer,” said Harrison.

“I am also planning to speak to Bannister to see where he’s coming from.

“Frank is not in my playing plans, but he is still in charge of the community programme.

“I spoke to Jim last week and I am planning to meet him again this week.

“I have a lot of time for Jim. He is a proud professional who has an affinity with the club, but I told him I don’t think he has another year of regular first team football in him.

“We are investigating the possibility of a different role for him, but it’s early days so we’ll have to see what comes of that.”

We've definitely signed Hesketh yeah.

I have to echo these sentiments, It appears that we will end up with 6 players who played for batley last year, A little Short sighted IMO but i aint no rugby coach. Hesketh and Reitte to be announced yet.

Banno & fieldhouse if they accept would put us on 22 players so far after the Batley bail out has finally finished.

Nice to see some openness from KH in his interviews, theres no real grey areas, we know who's leaving, and he's now cleared up any possible confusion about players not on the released list.

Communications with Fans is key to increase support IMO, He is starting off Fantastically well with letting the fans inside his head and what he is thinking.

The good thing about these players he is signing is he can get them match fit in the under 23's if they are not selected for first team rugby, Thats a definate bonus for us and will help the youngsters get experience from some very skillfull players.
