Brilliant stuff! Really good to see Sheffield doing well. With a new stadium, going full time, the future is bright for Sheffield. I think they will definitely return to SL within the next 5 years!

Just seen it on the Eagles website. A huge step forward. Just hope we are back in Sheffield next season too.

I think this announcement hints at a move back to the city. I'm not the man doing the books but I think it'd be a tad unsustainable to have a season out of the city whilst being a FT club.

I think it's safe to say our exile is nearly over.

Splendid news - so a big thank you and well done to all those responsible.

I thought it would be good to discuss the possible retention and signing of players for the 2016 squad on the return trip from a disappointing result,but I have looked at the potential fixtures and I cannot see any disappointment ahead so the discussion may have to wait until the off-season.

I do hope those clubs who may be signing,or signed,players from us delay the announcements until November.

Great news for the club and for the city of Sheffield, lets hope they move back over the winter and can build on this announcement and the success of this season.

I know there was hope that we might play some middle 8 games at Bramall Lane this year rumour has it that Sheff Utd have cocked up their new pitch (apparently you but the desso down than the grass seeds united but the grass seeds down first than the desso) however they have not cancelled any pre season friendlies so i am sure it is not too bad but they will be unlikely to be receptive for rugby matches to be played in the short term
