I've heard a rumour off 3 different sources today that the Siemens proposal for Hull has got the go ahead and will be announced on 26th November. On the 29th November there will be an announcement about the south end of the ground and the majority of funding will come from Siemens investment. Sounds exciting if true.

I can imagine that Siemens priority would be to sort out the South Stand. They can hardly be expected to set up a multi-billion pound energy business whilst the local team has such a shocking terrace.
I hope they can find a way to keep the Leylandii in any new development.

Easy, just strip the branches off, and fit each one with one of them propellor thingy majigs, bingo free leccy for the floodlights, it's a win, win situation.

I've never got over the loss of The Hut On The Hill at the North end.

It should be a two way stand like the North Stand at Leeds. You can fit a full size pitch in 'no mans land', then (along with the current south stand we have a two sided ground for our Under 19's. You could probably, at a push, fit in a Multi-storey car park there too

I had heard a while ago that in order to take the land at saltend they had agreed to build a complex at craven park which could accommodate Skirlaugh.

Have no idea if there's any truth in it whatsoever though

Do we have a ground sponsor lined up? Siemens Craven Park has a ring to it...maybe we can get a couple of turbines installed & power them up when we're defending the South stand?

It was something along the lines of a double sided stand complex. Obviously one side facing our pitch with the other side servicing a playing and spectating area for them.

Like I say I have no idea if there was a shread of truth in it, probably not but us Rovers fans live in hope
