Thoughts on him signing a new deal ???

Always liked his honesty and work rate even if he wasn't a star line breaker etc.

Been a weird couple of years for him, but I'd be happy enough to see him sign on for experience and depth. Got a bit of a soft spot for him as a player, but having been critical of sentiment and backwards-looking recruitment, I need to be careful or it'll be my turn to wear the hypocrisy hat again.

Would he get the 16 shirt though?!

I thought he did reasonably well on his return.

It'll depend on his attitude as to whether he'll be happy to only play in about thirty per cent of games though.

Is this his tenth year at the club then? If it is testimonial....
I know probably isn't straight forward anyway with him not actually been at the club at the start of last year.

On him as a player I like him, very dependable and will not make many mistakes. Sometimes we need a player who you know will make those 5 yards and not try anything fancy

Was unhappy he left in the first place, he gives 110% and is a very good defender. He is the type of player you want if your defending a lead for the last quarter of a game.

Fletch alluded to something on twitter earlier which looks on the face of it to be a contract extension. Nev is a good solid bloke and will do a proper props shift and drive the ball in when needed to calm things down and make a decent platform.

he is cac, does a shift defensively admittedly, but isn't that his job, with ball in hand its a waste of time, not a forward step for me. a poor squad player at best.
