I'm discounting younger players at the club as I've not really seen anything to suggest that anyone will step up.


If we kept 2 of ashworth, eseh or knight we'd be looking OK I think although probably lacking a bit of quality depth. Lose 2 or 3 of those and we need some quality replacements.


A few weeks ago I'd have said wigan would probably let eseh go for a small fee, not sure they will now.

Was just looking to see what Eseh's contract situation was and he only signed a 2 year deal with them which expires at the end of this season, but there is an option of a further year in Wigan's favour. Hopefully Eseh is loving his time here and digs his heels in to sign with us, Wigan might just let him leave without activating the extra year. But also you really couldn't blame the lad if he still wants to go back and make a fist of it at a champion side like Wigan.He's stepped his performances up in recent weeks though and is making a good impact when brought on. Surprisingly he took the 3 Man of Steel points last week!

Starting to have doubts about Ashworth, too inconsistent, thought he was poor last night again, too many penalties and missed tackles.


Id be happy with Ese Ese, Aydin, Fash, Hill, Eseh and then either Sao or Knight if the quota rules change.


I'd only keep Ashworth is we can't sign better and the rules don't change.

That's clearly the club's view or he'd have been signed by now.  Frustrating as he's good when he's on it but probably why he never lasted at saints and didn't pull up any trees at hudds
