Someone whose chairman doesnt sit on the RFL board might well be in a better position to challenge that though as it seems really discriminatory

I must confess I assumed he was off to Leigh as they have been chasing him for almost the entire time hes been at Saints. 

Not sure that's the general consensus from the East? we've had great service from his brother and i haven't seen anyone saying joe is rubbish, maybe the odd wind up on sm but not a general thought,i think he'll be a very good signing for you if he stays fit and the local rivalry with his brother and team will probably bring the best out of both of them,
