Sorry to be in the minority but I'd take Watts until the end of the season.
If he's agreed a release with Cas then there may have been a pay off of some kind involved, in which case we may be able to pick him up a bit cheaper.
Also taking him for the rest of the year doesn't guarantee that he's a starter every week
I'd gladly take him, and let him know at the point of negotiating a deal, that he may sit in the reserves most of the season, but I'd rather if injuries bite we had the option to put him in rather than Fash or Gardiner.
Fully understand everybody's reasons for not wanting him and I do agree to a point
He can be disruptive, fitness might be questionable and he's not getting any younger
But now we have Eseh and Knight (supposedly) we arguably have time to let him get fit over the next month or so.
If we could get him on a cheap wage and to act more of a back up than regular starter, then I wouldn't be against it.
