Is this a wind up? Apparently Gwilliam was saying on Humberside last night that his sources in Oz were confirming the signing of Cronk for 2012 but I really cannot see that happening; why would he want to come and play for us and ho could we afford to tempt him away from the NRL, State of Origin and International honours?!

Announcing signings early for 2012 - after 2 games must be a record.

He's obviously seen who our coach is and can't wait to play for him.

Is is widely rumoured we have Cronk for 2012, he will want to come and play for us because we will pay him a handsome wage. Hopefully Agar will be gone by then and it will be a pleasure to watch Cronk (if rumours are to be believed

) play in our kit...If Agar is still here I am sure the 4/5000 left may enjoy watching him!

If we were to start with recruitment announcements this early, surely it's admittance that the club realise that the fans are disgruntled. I think we're reaching the stage where there's only one announcement the fans want to be appeased, though. Cue the 'board's backing' spiel from Rule soon.

It would be a great diversion tactic though wouldn't it.
