Interesting signing. Not seen much of him since he was at Leigh a few years ago, but seemed decent then.

Ability wise he’s decent enough but his injury record is a concern. Keep him on the field and he’s a good signing.

We need to keep him fit and playing week to week, he’s the sort of player who looks very good when he’s fully match fit, confident and has his timing nailed down.

If we do that we get a very well rounded player with loads of experience who also brings some size to the back line.
He’s a right centre so could form a big physical partnership with Jarmain McGilvary which might be susceptible to a bit of pace and footwork but on the whole, would present a big challenge for most championship teams

Injury prone 32 years old player.......looking at players already at the club and been linked think a host of fans could be dissappointed

If you are disappointed so be it but for me

1) I've no reason to think he'll be any more injured than any other player.
2) when I've seen him play he's better than championship standard so will go well for us in that league
Doesn't stop us still keeping young players.

Bet he plays more than Gaskell.

In last 2 years he as played 13 games.last couple of season when mc was signing older players fans were criticiseing but now it appears to be ok,yes the club needs some experiance but not too many over 31.wish him well and time will tell

So on that basis then yep thornly a great signing

oh and over last 2 years gaskel played more.

Personally think some younger blood is needed
