Doubt Wakefield will be out of lockdown, the tier system is been strengthened re what's allowed and what isn't, and looks like we will be in tier 2 (/hopefully) or more probably tier 3.which is more or less a form of lockdown
We'll know on Thursday this week as the government will be announcing what tiers individual local authorities are in, and its not looking good at the moment for Wakefield.
It could be March 2021 before we are cleared to play in front of crowds. |

Are they now taking an approach of looking at it at local authority level? Before they were grouping by county wasn't they? Just looking at the latest data set on Wakefield and although slightly delayed it shows 25% downfall in cases, although this is to be expected with the national lockdown we are streets ahead of the likes of Kirklees, Calderdale and Bradford in terms of %. |
