Why would it be harsh on JK? Just because tomorrow's his last game doesn't mean we shouldn't announce the new coach

It may will be a very complicated situation. Imagine if our intended new coach is still employed by another club or may have been told he is no longer wanted but still has say a year left on his deal. There may well be compenstaion due to the coach and both parties , the coach and the potential new employer will have to tread very carefully in order not to jepodise any compensation. Lawyers, agents etc will be involved. It will take time.
Who ever gets the job I hope they have experience of getting rid of deadwood.

that's a really good point. personally i think agar has been messed around by hull fc. hope he gets the money that he's due. still don't want him to come to us, but a very good point well made.

In fairness, its all very complicated, although, were Hull always thinking of getting rid of Agar, or have they taken advantage of Mr Gentle's availability ?

Think it was hulls plan to not have him coaching as they offered him the director of rugby role a while ago I believe?

There seems to be some substance in your comments as apparently the delay is not at our club, but 'at the other end' and probably will not be concluded until early next week. Don't know who it is though.
