Has always spoken about his favour of Trinity getting a stadium to be fair.

We really do need some support from the City based Councillors regardless of their Political persuasion.

To be fair a reaction like this from the Tory’s was always going to happen. They hammered Box over the Thornes Park fiasco and this will also be a little cheap political swipe at the council leader. However, in a scenario when it seems Trinity have few political friends it’s a welcome addition to the debate.

It’s a shame this has come about after the election as Box may have been in a more vulnerable position to be affected by this dig, as it is he knows he is untouchable with the unwavering support from the East of the district. Still if he hates criticism as much as we are led to believe then it may stir some action from him.

The article highlights Box's Castleford affiliiations. Box says he will be fair to both clubs, but at least it points out this issue and probably reduces the potential for any Cas bias.

i was talking to Mark Crowther recently and he said that a Conservative run Wakefield council would be putting their backing behind the stadium and as has been previously mentioned, he has kept this stance since the newmarket idea was first proposed.

The Conservatives may back the stadium if in power but would they back it with finance or are they just trying to score from this (unlike the Wildcats who at the moment seem unable to score)

This is a joke right ??? the conservatives ????? The same conservatives that killed of most of the local villages, that jailed men for wanting to keep their jobs, the same ones that created a war in the South Atlantic to win favour and stay in power ,the ones that will take your grannies winter fuel allowance and did take your kids free drink of milk at school away.

Trust them if you will but remember Rugby League is a working class sport and they love the working classes dont they ? dont they ??????????????????????
