| Lenegan says theres no crisis and we have a great squad. I think hes lost his marbles. If he does not think the alarming standard of play and losing to both London and Huddersfield is not a crisis then he needs help. Its not like its going to get easier for us either with Warrington this week nd you have to wonder where our next win is coming from if theres not a major upturn in standard of performance across all aspects of play.
What is so great about the squad? Its star players are O'loughlin and Williams. One has a foot in the retirement door and the other is badly off form and wanting out of the club.

Yeah, i dont expect him to come out sounding the alarm bells and waving the white flag but a little bit of reality would be nice. The first thing you do when you're in a hole is stop digging.

| "I don't think it's a crisis," Lenagan said. "It's been a disappointing start but we've got a good squad of players and they don't become a bad squad of players overnight.
His comments are absolutely right. It’s disappointing but not at crisis stage yet. We’re 5 games in for fffff sake!

| No it's not a crisis.................but it could soon become one if we don't start picking up points. Our squad is decidedly poor as a whole. I fear for us on Friday I really do.

We lost against the two worst teams in the comp two weeks on the bounce and what is even more alarming is that our coach even says he is rattled and does not know whats wrong. We are joint bottom only held up by points difference. Then there is the Edwards fiasco and losing Williams. The whole club seems to be crumbling around Lenegan and he says there is no crisis. This is exactly how crisis does start. First there is a denial and then it becomes reality and before you know it, its too late.

The crisis isn't that we have only one won one game so far, the crisis is that yet another star player has been allowed to leave just so that Leneghan can generate a transfer fee to pocket.

I refer you back to his comments. He’s clearly acknowledged that the start has been poor. No issues, he’s right.
The Edwards fiasco as you call it is nothing but paper talk. He’s done a 30 minute TV interview about being the Wigan head coach from 2020. I’ve seen nothing or heard nothing to convince me that won’t be the case.
Williams is still speculation and IL has never ever commented on speculation. I’d go as far as to say they probably all knew this was going to happen before he signed his last deal. Players come and go and not one of us on here can even pretend to know what’s going on behind the scenes in terms of succession planning.
We’ve lost 4 out of 5 games which is rubbish but with the number of games left to play it’s far from a crisis. It’s about perspective, not panic!

| My concern in your situation wouldn't be a defeat or the scale of it vs Wire. We are together notorious for biff...
I would be hoping that we didn't pick up any injuries and suspensions that would disadvantage Wigan further against easier opposition.

It’s a winnable game on Friday for us and don’t kid yourself that it’s anything else. On form we won’t win but Wire have been far from unbeatable from what I’ve seen and if we can improve our attitude and energy the game is there for us.
I don’t feel anymore downbeat about our chances on Friday then I do about our games against Salford or Catalans in the following weeks, so I don’t think we’re at the stage of picking and choosing games just yet.

I fear a near half team full of young debutantes at Wigan more than any other, but I don't think that's going to be the case on Friday night is it?

Fingers crossed we’ll have Manfredi available and Greenwood back. If so the team looks capable. It would be an upset on current form but not earth shattering. I don’t think any side in Superleague (I include Saints in that) has looked unbeatable so far. I just hope the da t it’s a big game shakes the players in to action.
