He's not really been a penalty machine in the two games we've had him, though. 10 total in the Salford game and 18 vs Catalans isn't too bad.

All the refs are inept so its pretty irrelevant who you get apart from Alibert who is in another level of ineptitude.

The refs are what they are, and what they are, are the only ones we've got. (Lots of 'ares' there.) No ref = no game, and it's the players who drop the ball, or go for high shots, or stand offside. I admit some calls might occasionally be wrong, but we just have to accept they do they best they can. If anyone who complains wants to get qualified, apply to the RFL and do a better job.

Alibert is one of the better referees, fit enough to keep up with the play unlike some of the others. Ok, he makes some mistakes but he is very fair and doesn't favour any teams, he's from Tolouse so that includes the Catalans Dragons.

I agree with you stu....... but, Child is a couple of leagues below shocking!

I actually think Alibert is the best ref this year. I think Childs has got a lotof flak because of Agar. Whilst I think Silverwood and GAnson are absolute trash this year and at times change their interpreation of rules during the match, just like last nights match why chalk off the two Cas trys when the Leeds try looked much more forward?

And 100% agree with Stu, whige about the refs grow some balls and do the course, if not shut up.

He doesn`t need Agar to point out his deficientcies, its there for all to see.
