What it does show is that there could be a career path for some of the young coaches around the area.

Great to see young local coaches are getting their chance, like I said in another post theres a reason Wigan produces quality players it's not just down to where you are born it's the coaching they recieve as kids from St Pats, St Judes, St Cuthberts etc and I'm glad they have been recognised for it.



As for Hampo I thought he would have been strength and conditioning coach/assistant but it's still great news I'm sure the young lads will benifit a lot from him.

Its great to see young coaches in the area getting a chance to progress, something i think has been missing for a while.

It's great to see the club employing people from in and around Wigan, will put alot more passion and commitment into things.

Maybe with there inside knowledge of the youngsters in the area, we may get a jump ahead of our rivals to there signatures.

i still reckon he will bring summat to the young players as fitnes coach, but hes a lot to learn about modern rugby IMO.

He won't have been appointed because he's Hampo.

He'll have been appointed, because he's been interviewed and tested, and has been found to meet Mike Maguire, Shaun Wane and Mark Bitcon's exacting requirements.

So now we've got Hampson and Radlinski on the books, surely Phelps should be in line for some overtime, learning from 2 of the best fullbacks ever.
