| Off to Rosslyn Park for the Sheffield game on 11th May. Cherry Red availability being the reason.

Despite the quality of the venue, sounds surprisingly organised of the Broncos.

Ground is a stinker and the journey to it on a Sunday isn’t much better but we do seem to have a relationship with RP which comes in handy as our expensive ground in Wimbledon is perennially unavailable (sigh). Having seen the video of recent match at Halifax not entirely sure why quality of ground is even a thing anymore. Their ground, apart from being 3/4 empty like ours and built I. The 1920s appears to be in the middle of a jungle.

| It must be close as to whether it is unavailable as much as available in terms of weeks during the season. I wouldn't be surprised if AFC do get promotion, if there were more weeks it might not be available during the summer.
As ok as the ground is, we can't surely continue not to have access during the summer weekends to our supposedly home grounds. If the takeover goes ahead, it will be interesting to see how new owners view it.

| I’m really curious how we’re managing to pay the rent for both Plough Lane and Rosslyn Park, plus the squad and all the additional costs that go into running a semi-professional well known club. Maybe an investor or backer is helping out to ensure the club stays afloat while it looks to build long-term stability or perhaps its through sponsorships, private investors, or loans? Do we have new business partners who are willing to provide short-term capital with the expectation of returns either from future success, broadcasting deals, or long-term investment. Do you think the club is positioned to make a big commercial push this season to make it all work financially?

| You would think the 1 person who has a vested interest in keeping Broncos as a going concern would be Hughes. Especially if he hopes to get anything back from the takeover (if it happens).

From some interactions that I have had with the club this season, there is money there. What the source is I do not know, but without doubt somehow, it is being funded.

| Given our 2 DRs are not generating players, thank goodness our friends at Wigan & HKR are prepared to lend us some.
Good to have Connor back but the new 7 from Wigan looks a bit lively.

| Bienek is a big loss. Quite a few good loanees, but objectively way too many. They make up about a third of the squad we really are down to bare bones. We’re not the only team though and I suspect this is how it will be with Championship sides going forward with such low central funding they won’t be able to run big squads. I note the top 6 are getting away from us already and we have scored the least points and are one of the highest conceded as well which leaves us vulnerable if it goes down to the wire. This is kind of a must win game. Tricky times.

| I’d say that this is a must win game- lose it and Sheffield move two points away from us and closer to mid table. We don’t want to get stuck at the bottom with Hunslet , surely it’s only a matter of time before Fev find some form?
