Slightly odd to be pushing player sponsorships when we don't know who half the players are. Or maybe sponsor the shirt & good luck with whoever wears it!!

Thought they were only offering signed players, and the sponsorship fee has come down!

Remember when we had players to sponsor. Those were the days. I agree poor timing. I suggest they get making some announcements soon ( so we can all moan about how underwhelming they are!).

As every move by the club over the last few years could be described.

Every player we have signed so far, is available for sponsorship. that makes common sense to me! every club in The Championship is still signing players, most likely due to the big reduction in the share they receive from The RFL, we are still in October, the season has only been finished a month!

Training starts again before long, part time players have to find other work. No point in dithering.

Not sure that is true jaybs, we have named a handful but claim to have signed 20. Why would you rush (sic) to sponsor one of the handful to subsequently find we have signed the 5 best RL players on the planet (not going to happen of course)?
Sure if 1 of the named few has a connection with you fine but otherwise...............

Declan O’Donell, Dan Coates, Rob Oakley. Rhys Curran, Dean Parata, Oli Leyland, Will Blakemore, Brad Foster/

Yes I agree if you want to sponsor some name, then you will hold on, the many players I sponsored over the years, were not always major big names, one of my first was an Academy player, Tony Martin, but he quickly became a major player for us, that give me some satisfaction. Then we just got the shirt in a bag, but I still have each and every players shirt still.

It was said we were looking at some Aussie players again, but we were waiting for working visas to be confirmed, well if it is anything like my driving licence renewal, they said do it online, it will be quicker I did on the 18th July, and I am still waiting?

We are only on the 2nd November!

I think it would be really rather good if the club make some announcements this week. And by announcements I mean playing and coaching staff acquired not asking me for more money. I’d like to see a little energy. Many of the key Championship hopefuls look like they have recruited heavily. Our relative silence suggests we don’t see ourselves as that this year which, bearing in mind the owners reaction to 7th place last year seems inconsistent.

If the club are doing visa applications and not using an immigration lawyer they deserve to wait years.....
I suppose they could say they are waiting to see exactly what's at stake in 2022 before signing anyone?

I would suggest the future of the club is at stake. Another season like the last one having moved to a new ground could be fatal.
