Honestly would like to think we could at least make 7th or 8th anythign else a bonus anything less just sad

Mid-table seems a reasonable expectation. I still can't quite see how the squad is spent up to the salary cap, as has been stated by the club, because if it is then they need a much better accountant, as the other clubs spent up to the salary cap - Warrington, Wigan, Saints etc - are much, much better quality.

However, whereas last year it was hard to see anyone other than the Crusaders with as little quality as Quins, this year it's different. Quins are still a bottom half team, and wins against Warrington, Wigan, Saints, Leeds, Hull and Huddersfield will be few. Looking at Wakey, Widnes, Salford, Cas, Hull KR and Bradford, though, and you'd have to expect a decent return in those games. Catalans are, as ever, the wild card.

So I think 7th or 8th is a real possibility, injuries permitting. Anything above 7th would be remarkable, and anything below 10th would be very disappointing.

11th. Better than Wakefield, Widnes and Salford. 9th at best, over Bradford and HKR.

I'm hoping for the 7-8-9th mark, it may be hard for the team to gel straight away, or they'll come out firing. We beat St's early last season, lets do the same on our turf this!

Surprise a few top 8. Where hard to say but I think injuries as ever will be the key for lots of sides this as every season.

Top eight. Anything else is a failure.

Playoff football a very real possibility for London 2012 and should be one that we can reasonably hope for.

I'll go along with 7/8, but like all the 'lesser' clubs a lot'll depend on injuries due to lack of strength in depth.

Totally agree.........it is vital to the future survival of the club that we show we can compete and it is the only way we might attract new investment. Fail to do that over the next couple of seasons and the club may go to the wall when Saint David walks away at the end of this licence period.
