Good news for us. We need a strong Town and they need a strong Giants. The reason that neither clubs draw the attendances they should be getting is because, for too long, we have had no success of any kind in a meaningful, relevant, sport in this town. If people get into the habit of supporting the town's teams regularly they will buy into all the sporting activity of the town.

I think the majority of Town,s support comes from the heavy wollen area aswell as into Wakefield with no affinity to Huddersfield as a town ,was really hoping they would get relegated ,the bile and lies posted on DATM forum regarding Ken Davy and the Giants is unreal

Been years since I have watched a town game. But still glad they survived as I am born and bred in huddersfield so always like home town teams to do well.
It is very sad that people on here say they actually wanted them to get relegated.

If you my friend are from Huddersfield then you are a disgrace for wanting Town to go down. Its a local club who share the stadium and Town doing well will rub off on Fartown and vice versa. Even meast and Daz wanted town to stop up and they're Owls fans!!!!

I'm from Mirfield (Heavy Woolen area) and according to you thats got nothing to do with Huddersfield so I shouldn't have an affinity with the town and really shouldn't support Fartown. Its little things like you spouting off why some town fans won't go and watch Fartown anymore and continues to add to the flames of the bad blood between certain factions of both teams fans!!!!!!

Whilst I don't agree with the sniping, crikey if that's all it takes to stop them coming then they need to grow a pair!

thats what some say. Giants fans don't like town so why the %%%% should I go watch them. Thats one of the comments thats been said to me when I've asked my town supporting mates to come along with me!!!!
