Having been in conversation with other members of the Board and our Buisness manager Rob Parker today and as we informed LISA members last week we are really gearing up for 2014 off the pitch we would like our final home game (hopefully we will play at home in the final but you know what I mean) to finish us off for 2013 season in style.

We are looking to impliment the following measures this week at short notice to create a fun day for every single person who wishes to attend:

Pre match fun and Q&A in legends bar.

Touch down meal deal special upstairs in the Boardroom with host mc, guest speakers and U20 presentations. Price TBC but hoping to agree £30.00 per head as previous.

Community Foundation management and apprentices are giving hundreds of vouchers to kids in schools this week to fill in and redeem a free children's ticket for the game.

Posters going up around town as many as we can resources permitting (volunteers to assist would be much appreciated).

Radio interviews with BBC Manchester and Wish to promote the game and meal deal scheduled.

Local and national newspaper advertisement (look out for the metro build up)

I know it's all short notice but if everyone could bring along one or two extra people for the game which promises to be a cracker with a very strong Batley team then we can not only achieve a great crowd but a great atmosphere that will give us the advantage which helped our boys see them off in the NRC semi final.

I'm gutted I will be out if the country Sunday and all next week however I shall be working my socks off this week with the rest of the team to make sure everyone has a great day so please spread the word and bring a friend, brother, sister, mother, farther, son, daughter, auntie, uncle, neighbour, grandma, grandad, wife, girlfriend, boyfriend whoever you can and make it a great sign off to the 2013 home campaign.

The atmosphere at the lsv has been very poor the last few games, teams like Whitehaven with an away following of 10, have somehow managed to outsing us, Batley are on a roll therefore us fans really need to pull out the stops, bring as many family/friends as possible, in order to create a better atmosphere, as the lads thrive of it!!

I think we need to competitively price this match with this game also being broadcast live into the pubs and homes of Leigh on Sunday.

I of course shall be there, however money is tight for some (including me) with it being all to pay and after shelling out on Sunday to go to Featherstone, although the BOD did save me a fiver.
